Different, decadent, and entirely delicious, Dame's Chicken and Waffles specializes in  unique pairings of southern chicken and European style waffles that are sure to please any palette. If you've never indulged in such a specialty, I highly recommend you give Dame's a try in the very near future. They have a wide range of options for types of chicken and flavors of waffles. Do you like blueberries? They can do that. Gingerbread? They offer that too! Each dish comes with a side of what Dame's affectionately calls "schmear", which is a sweet, whipped cream butter that pairs miraculously well with savory chicken.

If you're looking for a recommendation, my personal favorite is the Orange Speckled Chabo... are you ready for this? It's a fried chicken breast atop a sweet potato waffle drizzled with honey dijon and finished with a sweet orange-honeycomb schmear. I know, right? If you're in a breakfast food mood, the Barnyard Honcho is equally incredible. This dish comes with a chicken breast, a classic waffle, two eggs cooked to order, and a side of creamy, buttery, southern-cooked grits. Have I sold you on this place yet?
